  Who here is eligible to vote but not planning to vote?
  
  It's so funny when our older generations "force" us to vote and tell will tell you conspiracy stories if you don't vote like, in future not entitled to benefits, etc.
  
  My ex chose not to vote and all that happen is she was struck of the voting registration.
  
  So far no STAR team raid her house yet.

  Then after vote already post in here to describe the process. I so old now still no chance to vote. When can I exercise my rights as a voter?

  you can move your house to potong pasir or hougang to exercise your right as voter!

  you will be sent a letter telling you the polling date and polling station.
  
  on that day you report to the polling station, usually a School or CC.
  
  Show your IC, and you will be given a ballot.
  
  you go to booth, take the big fat marker and mark a big fat cross on the party you want to vote.
  
  If you are feeling nasty. you go spoil the vote if you want by marking every party. or not marking. or write some political remarks.

  singapore's voting turnout has been above 95%.
  
  I dunno whether its because of the myth that "bad things" will happen to you if you don't vote, or they are sincerely trying to vote.
  
  Western country voters turn out is in the region of 45-55%. haha.
  
  So even though the person wins, he wins knowing that 50% of the population chose not to vote.

  PAP damn cunning. They knew that the problems in Holland-BPJ was partly their fault, so they decided that this GRC had to go.

  I think the voting age should be lowered to 18. It's not fair that newly-drafted NSFs can't decide who deserves to be their masters.
  
  Here's a better suggestion. Since the legal age for sexual intercourse is 16, how about letting someone who reaches that age be asked if he wished to renounce his citizenship within the next 5 years?

  Because they know you are going to serve NS and purposely vote the other party out of anger....
  
  and your "immature" action may lead to a group of ppl losing their lifetime jobs.
