Im a semi backslidding one...dont count on me...just cant take it that some others have bad experience with some other christian and they start generalising that all christian sucks and blah blah blah...and it is sad that the ways some churches do their spreading of the word only makes things worst...
I have heard stupid statments like....My church is the only way to heaven and stuff...total turnoff....If you ask me the best way to spread the gospel is by having mega events like the one at christmas....we are not forcing you to listen...but the space is there for u to come and hear if you want.... -
you're a christian i respect, unlike some of your brethen who come to me and force me to convert, and if i refuse they talk behind my back saying i have no life coz i dont accept their religion. what the fcuk!! then theres some more who 'worship' god but actually they dont giva fcuk abt god they just wanna be 'cool'. and theres also some whose minds are so corrupted by religion that everything they say is abt religion. something happens and i ask why, they tell me that god made it this way. they get a cut, i ask why does your god make u suffer, they say god has a plan for each of us. then i give him a slap on the face and ask why doesnt god stop me from hitting u, and they tell me that god wants us to learn and be independent. what the fcuk!! then i go up to a christian and pretend to say 'i wanna join ur religion' and he says 'OH CHRISTIANITY IS THE GREATEST RELIGION, EVERYTHING WE SAY IS TRUTH, ONCE U JOIN US U WONT REGRET IT. ONE DAY THE WORLD WILL BE RULED BY CHRISTIANITY AND WE'LL SHOW U GOD EXISTS! I've been to nice churches before. The people are friendly, after service have lunch together then find a place to sit around and chat or play pool. They don't brainwash so much as in 'must give money to assure our place in heaven'. The real piss off thing in a church is that the members are 'forcing ppl' to accept salvation and try to make them stay and eventually brainweash them to give money to church. Though it'll be for the work of God (support missionaries etc) and support church but end up will be giving more then half of the earnings to church.

But it is the practice of the churches here in Singapore. It is all bullocks. All religious institutions should have their accounts opened up.
