It's safe to get bottled drinks from 7 Eleven and some shops. But road-side stall peddlers might sell self-bottled drinks. coz it's so bloody hot at bangkok
the hotel's water abit salty loh..actualyl the mineral also a bit salty..duno why -
Patpong night market go there see see can liao.... no point buying there

coz all 'tok' tourist
i didn't go this time so don't know
but i think the stuff there quite repetitive...u can get the same stuff at other nite markets/weekend markets -
buy clothes..
eat buffet! ( very cheap there )

I think going to PatPong is waste of time cause the prices there are meant to chop tourist.

did a calculation before.... it is actually cheaper
Lumpini Night Market is a good place to go in the evening... got shopping, eating, beer, live performances
Soi Cowboy also can go see see

apply for the tourist visitor card got 10baht discount
quite worth it...coz most of the shopping malls and nite markets are accessible by BTS -

And streets hawker center are not really recommended. Cos it alot worse than the pasar malam in singapore. U can actually see rats running around. -

always ask if the taxi has a meter before boarding it.
tup tup rides costs around 20 baht. reject them if they offer to bring you to "other" destinations. they'll just send you to some diamond factory that u won't be interested in.
if you're interested in nice cars, check siam paragon out. they have ferrari, lambo, maserati etc showrooms there.
try to slash prices by half when u start bargaining.
go to the upper levels of MBK for your DVD needs but the stuff there are rather ex compared to the other places.
siam square (opp MBK) is a nice place to shop at. lots of cute thai school girls there.
