how should a couple be like

  i have many friends who are attached.. some are very lovely and some break off in less than a week... what do u think abt relationship?

  i suppose ppl dun really noe each other well until they're in a r/s, cos a relationship is so different from a friendship, living together is different from just being in relationship, and the same goes to marriage, parents, in-laws, kids & family and extended family.... it'll get harder to please everyone.
  
  as u go on, tat's more potential for conflicts and differences in opinion and way of doing things.
  
  and a lot depends on how much they are willing to and can compromise without adversely without affecting their r/s, how they adapt to each other and work together.
  
  love and passion is important, but one should not lose sight of the practicalities of life and family.

  we cant set/ dictate the rules for how couples should behave..
  
  if you want an answer, try turning the question towards yourself and ask how you will want your relationship to be..
  
  the are so many things that the eye can see and which is only skin deep.
  take all that away.. i hope what is left is love/passion (most impt), trust, respect and understanding..
