If the pirated DVD/VCD found to be uncensored or illegal, you will be CAUGHT on the spot once you enter the SG checkpoints.

beside, im trying to encourage piracy in order to make the government to lower original dvd/vcd cheaper

I thought they made it a CRIMINAL offence to infringe copyright with fines up to $20,000?

My understanding so far is......
The IP law is more focused on software than movies. But ain't movies IP too?
Before the IP law, it is not illegal to bring in Pirated Movie DVD. It is illegal because you are bringing in uncensored movies. However, you can submit pirated movies to Censors and have it "legalised".
Isn't that what one of the DVD shop did? Import pirated and send to censor to make ppl think got sticker means its legal.
