  Taking pics from Windows Media Player requires you to change the settings "Hardware Acceleration" to zero. Your pics will then appear when using Print Screen function.
  
  To take a moving shot of your computer screen, use Windows Media Encoder

  easier way... download VLC media player.

  VLC has snapshot function alrdy... Under Video menu when playing a video

  Coz the rendering method is overlay, not RGB.
