The things there are much higher then in singapore. Ask for at least 2k Euro. Its better to ask them for more money rather then suffering in the end. You'll be there alone, no one is going to support you financially.

2-3k Euro justifiable.
A friend got employed to Middle East as chef. Accomodation & 4 return flights/yr (becos he got family).
Salary: USD 4k+.
Salary while in Sg: < SGD4K.
Cannot really compare, as a guide only. -
hmmmm maybe u guys are right. so i think i shld ask for 2k for a start first. see how then. maybe it will be lowered. but better be safe side.
some say standard there quite low. unemployment also quite high. some also say living standard high....hmmm...hopefully can manage there.
