Need help with virus software

My pc infected with the Bloodhound and trojan Virus, but can't remove it as my Norton subscription has expired.
Anyone knows of any free virus-removal software?

AVG is a good software to use temporary because their virus defination is much slower than others. But to just to use it to remove a current infection should be good enough.
PS: Norton Anti-Virus is retailing at $79 for their Internet Security W/ Anti-Virus. -
Actually if u notice properly, norton is actually the one which releases virus definations at a slower rate.. It usually updates once a week.. every wed or thurs through liveupdate... But of course, if u want extra protection, u can download the daily virus definations from symantec website and apply it yurself manually.. But AVG antivirus updates itselfs every 2 days or so.. sometimes daily too..
