Ppl who eat at a restauarant & run away w/o paying

You gotta believe it . There r some people who actually do it! My waiter fren told me that one or 2 times happened. One incident involve locals the other were some tourists.

I can confirm it too ....
used to work at a rather snotty, expensive resturant during my poly days ... one saturday evening, a very well dressed couple came in, had their meal, and a little while later, they just disappeared ! ... it was a very busy period so no body noticed it when they ran off .... they just left behind a their dessert dishes and went off ....
people aren't what they look like ...

I wouldn't be surprised. Since service staff at F&B outlets are most of the time uncooperative so they tend not to look out for this.
Don't be surprised, display sets during IT shows get stolen too. -
Got once..@ Milano at the old Marina
got one family..took alot of stuff (buffet)
eat and after that the father yelled and say the food is not hot and alot of complains
den the whole family leave..the waiter/ress also never chase -

the complainers,
the pretentious yaya pricks,
the cheap skates who insists on tabaoing left over salads and rib bones (for the dog ... ),
people who run away without paying,
people who think by complaining and raising a stink they can get away with a discount or a free meal,
people who act like Kings ("are you stupid ? I said medium rare, this is not medium rare ! " ) .......
and the list goes on ..... -

But there was this time..i was eating at a resturant and i forget to paid again.. went to my car started to went off and than suddenly saw someone chasing my car... turn out it one of the waiter chasing me..telling me that i have forgetten to paid.. so embrassing.. -
hee sometimes its really forgot...
but was nv caught lar..others, we rem to pay jus before we leave.. -

then i guess the right thing you should do is to head back and pay for your meal. There's once I was eating wth my friends at Swensen. After meal, forget to pay and walk out. The manager still say come back again. there was once i forgot to pay the bill and went home... the next day.. i opened my wallet.. and think.. "huh.. why got $200... i tot i spent $70.."
den i remembered that i forgot to pay for my meal and went back to pay the very next day... -
there was once at swensens, where i used vouchers to pay for my meal, they said that i did not pay. i got fed up, complained about the rude waiter,turned out that the waiter misplaced the vouchers. the manager apologised, gave us a free meal, and new/extended vouchers..
