  hmm.. propaganda would fall under spreading info fast wouldnt it.. which is the same as www,email and such? the only thing i can think of mass media as a weapon is propaganda

  you know the book that had those idiots at church acting up and proclaiming heresy etc?? that reaction itself shows how much the leaders fear literary media. but on the other hand i wonder if the opinions of supertitious pple would lend credibility

  see how u can 'twist' e iraq war dat pple actually believed that US invaded iraq bcos got WMD but in e end... how we e world (at least a considerable portion of the world) tot it was an ok cause... n how until tis day... it has been proven dat there was no WMD... dats 1 pt i will include in m essay if i wrote...

  There are many vaild points you can write if you agree with the question.
  
  Give as many examples as you come across from the net, newspapers, etc.
  
  U can also compare the media before and today and maybe what you think in the future.
  
  You can write about how mobile era is changing to informative world where communication and transferring of datas can be done wirelessly.
  
  You can bring some of consequences of media - Pro and Cons?
  Think of how media can enable you as wekk as constraint you.
  
  Apply with relevant examples and you can write a good essay on this.

  You link to technology and propaganda got lots to write.
  
  Technology got newsgroups, blogs, websites which the media uses.
  
  Propaganda got advertisements, books, etc.

  I never liked doing argumentative essays.How could they expect a person to write about something he has never ever thought or read about before in less then a hour's time.I always based my argumentative writing on internet research.But of course you can't do this during the examination can you.
