Aerospace.. Really got future?

Seems like everyone wanna go Aerospace, And then some of them tend to look down on people from IT sch.. what gives?

if i am not wrong, i think the licensed aircraft engineers are paid quite well

The poly system here really sucks. SP was the first to set up the aeronautical engineering course and soon the other copycat polys started setting up similar courses. the aerospace industry here is so puny and with hundreds of aerospace graduates each here, i wonder how the hell the industry will absorb each and everyone... unless you dont work what you study or go overseas.
maybe they should downsize the enrolment or interview applicants and select those who are really interested. as an avionics grad, i tell you that most if not all in my course have zero interest in aircrafts. -

Senior tech earn up 2 $5,000 also can depend on how many type of aircraft he check out for. -
The herd instinct is in all singaporeans. First was life sciences (outlook of job market is not as good as most ppl think. trust me), then hotel management for the IRs. I think in order 2 survive in aerospace industry u must have interest la else hard 2 servive la, for us with interest it a passion tat very well paid.

I agree should keep e course only for those truely interested.Now competion is so intense in e industry.
