Juice Asia Marketing. So called advertising company..
The interviewer told me that they are doing a govt project, community involvement project (CIP). To raise funds for the leukaemia children.
I am given the job.. promised me a baisc salary of $1300. Din really talk about commission. But I was told that I will be given training of 1 month. This is supposed to be a vacation job for me (less than 6 weeks holidays left). He also told me that if I decide to join the company after I graduate, I will be getting a basic salary of $2000.
The more I think about it, the more I find something amiss.. and therefore I decided to check out the company.. couldn't find the company website..weird coz he told me it's an international firm, expanded to China etc. But I found this article..

Anybody has any experience with this co? Is it a fraud? How does it work? -
aiyer...if got bad news already...betta don join lor...skali u kena cheated how.... or they give u less pay...

I'm not sure but I don't like this company because the donations we made is partially used to pay staffs for commission and stuffs. I think you look for other companies, to prevent donors who find troubles.

i advise u dun work for them.
they are selling charity tickets. i have hit such companies before.. usually on ST Classifieds, they masquerade themselves as event companies, or new company needs many staff to fill in new positions.
they say they keep 10% for themselves, actual fact is they keep more than 50%, the charity gets 10% to 20%. and they will always try to sweet talk to you, have level of leadership (similar to MLM) to encourage them to sign up more ppl under them to form a sales line, and they will pester u for some time if u wan to quit. if i'm not wrong, in all such cases, they will always call u the day before to confirm that u're coming the next day.

they will pick a mrt station, each cover one for the week, and sell on the streets. they may also go to hdb door-to-door around the station. mainly for charity tickets. some may actually sell u an item like a watch or anything, say for chairty at $10 per set.
the companies, got once they went on every dean and lecturer's office at nus biz sch trying to sell the snoopy restaurant voucher.... -

$1300 is actually $65 (~30-40 tix a day) x 20 days. that's where the $1300 figure came from.

it's registered as an advertising/marketing company but in fact, it is MLM.
I dun mean MLM are no gd, it's the tactics they use. Earn money thru means of charity? I find it very despicable. -

dun ever join them if a contract is needed lo..... cos they'll force u do the charity selling as CIP for the company wad-so-ever, or juz jolly-well coax you to do it for the sake of comission.
p.s.: btws can M.O.M do smth abt this kinda companies? -

I believe there's quite few constructive comments here already. And given the situation of charity sales tickets nowadays, I don't think you will be able to sell enough tickets for your commission. But personally, I think it's better not to join them because they are practically "cheating" legally. The money collected have only 10% - 30% to the charity, this news have appeared in the papers before. And they do fixed a price to the tickets/items you're selling, no free donations. Don't get taken in and become too hard to leave. Say no now while you have the freedom of doing so. There's many good companies around with pay of $1300 per month. Can go Metro and John Little.

brown QUIT THE JOB NOW.i was tricked into this so called marketing job in juice asia.1 month ago,i was looking for a job in the papers.I went there to get an interview which was near clarke quay.In the evening they gave me the job.They told me no selling was required which was totally F*king bullshi+.Bcos u have to sell CHARITY TICKETS for 1 whole month and it is those kind which u have to approach people.And the worst part?The so called trainer i was assigned to totally blackmailed me into not quitting.I had felt like qutting bcos i couldnt stand selling tickets 8 hours a day for 1 day,needless to say 1 month.But he threatened to quit if i quit also,and basically tried to manipulate me into continuing the job.It was the worst day of my life.In the end i quit after 1 day but that F*cking trainer kept SMSing me like 2 pages of sms each time.I had to switch off my phone as he kept calling 2.And the salary is all commission based.They tell me i earn $65 a day...yea sure but u have to stand under the hot sun for 8 hours a day and sell ur allocated amount.The last time i had to see those tickets which cost $10 a day.Imagine that.QUIT NOW DUDE.DONT WAIT OR U WILL REGRET IT.i had first hand experience and i dont want others to suffer!
