i'm sure many girls would like to know this as well.
i've seen that some guys get kind of turn off when girls make the first move , whereas some guys feel that the girl is brave and feels flattered.
what's your opinion ? -

I think the girl is brave and different from other girls. They will have a much easier time to find their prince charming as they make things happened instead of waiting for things to happen. They will also be able to CHOOSE a guy, as opposed to being chosen. Also, normally girls who make the first move are more open minded, and from my experience, they are more friendly and more out going, making friends easily and hence they are normally surrounded by alot of friends. They tend to lead happier lives than people who are more reserved and hide in their caves all the time. -

so far i've not done it yet, and i do support my frds for doing it.i feel it is veri alright for both sexes to do it. And it's actually easier when d gals make their first move..

i liked that a gal makes the first move. throws me off guard but at the same time she will make a gd impression of herself to me as being confident. its like courtship in reverse which may make it fun and more exciting.
if she doesn't make the first move, its fine. BUT...
heard taiwanese gals will take the 1st move to approach a guy that she fancies...i think that's super cool. -

my gf made the first move on me because i didnt.. well.. maybe i can dare say that most guys lack of self confidence and the courage to go after a girl..
personally, im afraid that i get rejected by the girl and feel afraid of such rejections. generally, i think both genders do fear the feeling of rejection..
i lack of confidence because i think that im not handsome enough or dont have the $$ to attract them.. i know looks nor $ is the impt factor.. but right now, everybody is blinded by the materialistic world around them...
girls usually get attracted to handsome muscular guys with fanciful cars.. and blah blah..
anyway.. my gf did ask me... "do u like me? i like u very much.."... i took 10 blardi minutes to answer that question cuz i never expected that question to come out from her mouth... i tolder that i liked her too and she was the 1st one to suggest that we went out more often to get to know each other better..

That speaks positively on the part of the girl. As opposed to girls who, out of fear for societal dogmatic foolish limiting ideas (eg "guys should make first move", etc), are afraid to act on their heartfelt feelings, and even perhaps play hard to get.
The girl who has the willingness, courage and sincerity to 'make-the-first-move' is showing her openness and willingness to communicate with the guy, and also signalling to the guy positive encouragement to further their relationship. The mature, intelligent and non-dogmatic (ie. sincere, courageous and dares to do what's right for himself even if it's against societal dogma) guy, will be appreciative of the girl who does this.
Indeed, because everyone has been incarnated in both male and female bodies before, in previous lifetimes or past lives, and the soul is essentially simultaneously both male & female, it is only natural and right, that ideas that dictate separate roles or rights or 'shoulds' & 'should-nots' for guys vs gals, should be re-examined under the light of spiritual intelligence, wisdom and lovingness, and determined (by every individual for him/herself), whether it is a worthy guideline to follow, and to understand thoroughly the underlying principles and purposes for any such ideas, in the light and goal of maximum CosmoEthics, Evolution, Assistantiality and Love.

I really admire gals who makes the first move. Its more a turn on rather than turn off. First, it shows that they are confident...and guys like confident gals. Hm. So far, I didn't have the courage to as I feel that I get rejected and that he will think I am siao.
But, I think, 4 guys had confessed to me that he like me. Since P5 late April, the confessions keep coming in.
I was shocked too, but then I felt that they are very confident to come forward and say it. I simply don't have the courage to. I only have the courage to just talk to them. I have loads of guy-friends.
But then, I still feel sad coz' the one that I like didn't confess to me.
