What's the difference between these two cable?

  basically when U connect a pc to another pc...the cable that U use is an ethernet cable...there are 2 kinds of wiring for the cable...1 is straight cable...the other is the cross cable...U use a cross-cable for pc-to-pc connection.
  
  if U connect the pc to another device like a router/switch/hub....U also use ethernet cable...but the connection for the cable is different...it is called the straight cable.
  
  to know the details about straight and cross cables...like the pin assigments and etc...go google it.
