Can I die from hard alchohol drinking?

  I hav this bottle of dry gin 49% alchoholic, usually mix it with fizzy drink. but i was bored juz now, so i tried to drink it pure
  
  i poured juz a abit full in a cup then drink it at 1 go. woohoo my throat was lik on fire so shiok manz
  
  i wonder what would happen if i drink the bottle in gulps??? will i die? or will i juz faint from the coolness?

  since someone ask this question...i tell u the answer is "no"....i see so many chiong bar can drink like heros leh.....so i only want to see their glorious days and moment....if they should ever die and die horribly and slowly....not my prob...

  Liver cirrhosis+kidney failure+alcohol poisoning+brain stem failure+blood vessels rapture+irregular and non sycho heartbeats=death

  ya, this or liver cancer. My relative is a heavy drinker- hard liquor, red wine, beer, develop liver cancer, suffer for 6 mths, then died.

  Yes, you will die from hard alcohol drinking but what's worse is the traumatic suffering you go through over months if not years.

  Liver problems are over long term drinking. But, over-drinking of hard liquor in one session, can lead to alcohol poisoning.
  
  Basically it's cardiac arrest. You die.

  No YOu will get alcohol poisoning. If your liver cannot take it. Could die. if too much. But that is if your liver is weak and too much. If you are not a good drinker... you do that possibly die from that.
