  hmm...i've known her for a long time, we used to go to the same school some 15 years back...heh...but it is only about 7yrs later that we were formally introduced and about 5 years later, we became a couple...which is 12 years after we graduated from the same sec sch...and after one year, we registered our marraige..

  well, it's more like, we know we're meant for each other...and so, the next logical step would be to get married...come to think of it, after the first few months of pak tor-ing, we were already making plans to get married...the hardest thing was asking for her hand...everytime i promised her i'd talk to her parents, i get cold feet...afterall, it was barely a year since we were together...haha...i kept pushing and pushing until it got to a point where she thought that i'm having second thoughts...
  
  and so, one evening, after her mum's medical appointment, i finally told her mum of our plans to settle down, over a plate of char kway teow....her mum kept nodding her head while i spelled out our plans and only said these words "if both of you are ready, just go ahead with it"...i was so relieved i didn't even finish the plate of char kway teow...
