Your idea is quite interesting...a place to hang out without getting drunk. Sparkling juice is good.

aiyyy.....u mean like karaoke and psychatrist?? hehehehehe why not add pinball machines asoOriginally posted by chanff8:Disco a bit too wild. Cybercafe... hm... a small section will be alright.
Most importantly the place must be affordable as your customers are mostly teenagers.
You can also have private cabins which teens can book on an hourly basis, to watch TV/VCD/DVD.
What appeals to most teenagers will be a peaceful place to simply rest and chit chat with their friends. Too noisy and it'll really become a disco.
Perhaps you can offer services like Aunt Agony? Maybe can invite the mods from SgForums AA to help out
Haha I'm already dreaming of going there already. It is starting to sound like a great place for teens![]()
that'll be nice if the machines don't produce too much noise.Originally posted by praetor81:aiyyy.....u mean like karaoke and psychatrist?? hehehehehe why not add pinball machines aso
dont get too excited..hes still only thinking about itOriginally posted by chanff8:that'll be nice if the machines don't produce too much noise.
Main thing is to provide a suitable place for students to come for relaxation and also when they are feeling troubled, they'll need a nice place to sort out their thoughts. Put tissue boxes for those who need to cry.
Who knows, this teens club may even prevent a few teenage suicides when the stress level becomes too high![]()

if that's the case they will rather go zouk.. some more u not scare ah bengs fight mehOriginally posted by Realistic-Nonsense:Yesterday i went to Zouk cause got above 16 only party.
So damm crowded. I bet u guys also went there too.
The bouncers were so damm strict. and even though , Zouk , being a rather unconvienient place to club . (not near MRT or any buses) People espcially TEENS are willing to take a taxi there. From what i witness , zouk business was thriving.
Me and my Dad then thought that what if we starting a clubbing business. a pub where it would allow teenagers to enter and no alchohol would be served. (no alchohol tax) then we would start making money.
but, its rather unconvincing as some of the teens might think that serving no alchohol would be rather stupid and if you went there, you would be a loser cause they were serving no alchohol. if this business were to really be a success , HOW to make it successful?

I think its alright. Things that changes fast are those fashion and trends etc. This can be a place for adolescents to relax and basically chill out. It does not have to be a cool place, just a place to hang out, thats allOriginally posted by praetor81:but seriously, why a place for ADOLESCENTS??? their, or much likelier our things that they consider cool change very fast..you've got to spend money fast as a result
during my time, about 15-16yrs back, there this thing called "tea dance" it's held by discos during the day time, ard 4 pm, and that's where teenagers like us go and dance ourselves silly...and there's no alcohol served...Originally posted by Realistic-Nonsense:Yesterday i went to Zouk cause got above 16 only party.
