i think MM Lee still hold high precedence in Singapore. He sat next to the Queen during the State Banquet for her. On her left is our president while MM on her right. Shldnt the PM be beside her??

You need someone whom everyone holds in high regards to sit with the Queen. The Queen has no political power, just like the President. PM would sit beside the British PM if he comes. -
