taking the levels of ACCA then work a few years in say an audit firm...then become a chartered accountant... -
Im taking accountancy soon. But I'm worried it might be a wrong career path for me. People always say choose a career path which you are most likely to enjoy. I like soccer so being a footballer is out of the question.
Now, accountants, auditors and such, do they actually have no life like what many people always say? Because I want to be a family man in future. Everyday come home in the evening to my family, spent time with my kids on weekends, go holidays and such. Having a career in this line, does it jeopardize my family life dreams? -
if u're taking accounting, i tink u mus be prepared to work into the wee hours in the night and spend less time with family members.. Accountants work really long hours in trade off for their high pay and i heard it's a relatively boring job.. i was considerin accounting as a uni choice but i tink for me i may go for a general degree like business and go to private firms for an Accounting cert later..
