they took away my comp also
but unfortunately i did not back up my game server files
as they are very important to me as it will earn me 2k-4k per month
i have been asking the police to just take back the files but they always replied me with wait after the case is close first
i just want to know is there anyway for me to take back the files even b4 the case is over
or if it is not possible then i have no choice but to wait
thanks please help me if u know!!!!! the real thing
It's not what you think. It's what they think. They think if you take back your things, there goes the evidence. So you cannot take back your things.Originally posted by sango(POH):dont think taking back the files will prohibit the police investigation

U think too highly of the US forensics people liao lar...given the option of having the actual thing and a backup copy...which one U think they want?...if not thinking about taking the easy way out lar...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:It's not what you think. As this is not US, we don't have sophisicated computer forensics tools. In US, they can literally copy everything into a ZIP disk and bring to the police station and analyse. Here, we don't have. They have to take everything back to analyse, which means basically no chance of taking back. Even if can, it's most likely destroyed.
