CRT TV products and brands, Need Help!!!

I thinking bout buying a crt none flat or flat tv 21" , but i get confused that have so many brands and type models even the display quality.
I just want to know the best ways to look for what mains purpose for the tv when i choosing a tv?
The pictures display in screen???
CRT tube ???
How long can it's last...!!??
Quality...?
Or wat ever you can help me...

Agree but the pricing is still a bit steep as compared to normal CRT flat screen TV. Unless the price can drop further, for budget concious ppl it maybe better to still go for CRT flat screen TV. My home brand is Toshiba

Buy Sony CRT for durability.
Last time (long long ago), there was a new philips colour tv in the house. After 2 days, the tv became b/w... Now we use philips for lights only. -
i have a toshiba (made in japan set)... 10+ years... still working fine... every evening switch on..

Most CRTs are made by Asahi Techno Glass in Singapore, so for people who don't know this fact, all tubes are basically the same, just that different brands after been assembled by various factories.
If you want to get a 21" flat screen CRT TV, you can go for Toshiba, Sony and Panasonic. The rest of the features are more or less the same. -
I think a Sony 21" Flat Screen CRT TV will last you for at least 5 years down the road, according to experiences.

whatever it is, don't buy thomson t.v...cheap, but not durable...
the one in my bedroom is a sony wenga...not bad for clarity...
