Standard of polyclinics' doctors dropping?

  I went to a particular doctor at clementi polyclinic...
  After some checks, she said she suspects i have viral infection in my stomach and prescribed me some medicine.
  I ate the medicine as instructed, but my stomach hurts even more at night..
  
  Then i went to my family doctor, upon showing him the medicine, he said its only for gastric pain, then he prescribed me some medicine and i feel better after taking them.Its weird how the first doctor prescribed me gastric medicine when she should prescribe viral infection medicine

  Maybe the pharmacist cant read the doctor's handwriting.
