Yes, and when I tried to highlight the problem to Yahoo! helpdesk, I get some robotic sounding reply, stating that I can only sign in using one userid (but I only have 1 userid in the first place).Originally posted by photo_seeker:Anyone experienced problems with listing of new items ?
For example, it will request for Driver Licence or Social Pass Number, which is only available in the US ?
I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this problem.
I'm still waiting for a reply from them.Originally posted by ellisbeck:Yes, and when I tried to highlight the problem to Yahoo! helpdesk, I get some robotic sounding reply, stating that I can only sign in using one userid (but I only have 1 userid in the first place).
Anyway, the problem would arise when I try to sell item directly from my own auction page. I realised that if I take the trouble to start the "sell item" process by clicking "sell item" from the auction page itself (and having to select all the categories and sub-categories), I avoided that problem.
Hope my experienced helped.
Yes, the problem is the most serious for me among the many others which I have encountered since the upgrade. Yes, and they take a while before they respond to you.Originally posted by photo_seeker:I'm still waiting for a reply from them.
Does the problem only appear recently ? Mine only surfaced when they did a upgrade. I can list the item sucessfully only if I don't provide a picture cause the moment I attempt to submit a picture, I will be directed to the Internation Page and the problem comes in. But I cannot go without picture in my auctions because the items that I sell are collectibles and needs a proper picture description.
I've tried that, but still couldn't. Thanks anyway.Originally posted by ellisbeck:Suggest you try starting from clicking "Sell Stuff" from the auction main page. I could go through that without encountering the problem.
I know and it only benefits the seller which I enjoys. I only wait till the last minute before I carry out my re-bids.Originally posted by Gordonator:those newbies bidders are really laughable.
take for example, a item is open for bidding, let say 10 days. those newbie bidders will do the most noobish and silly thing by actually bidding on the item. another noob bidder sees the item and bid as well. the 1st bidder after seeing he has been outbidded will stupidly bid again. so on and so forth.
don't they understand by doing so, the price will just goes up and up. the right thing to do is to wait until the last 20sec before the auction closes and bid.
the noobs just don't get it.![]()
exactly. currently there's an item i interested in and is waiting till the last minute before i bid.Originally posted by photo_seeker:I know and it only benefits the seller which I enjoys. I only wait till the last minute before I carry out my re-bids.
Just pay more then.Originally posted by Gordonator:exactly. currently there's an item i interested in and is waiting till the last minute before i bid.
but i can't stand those n00bs who bids on the item now and is raising the price up.![]()
that's not the way u play this bidding game.Originally posted by photo_seeker:Just pay more then.
That's your only choice now.Originally posted by Gordonator:that's not the way u play this bidding game.![]()
sad but true. just hope that no more n00bish bidder bids now.Originally posted by photo_seeker:That's your only choice now.
Yes. Else, I think you just look for other sellers. What you wanted to get that is rare in Yahoo! ?Originally posted by Gordonator:sad but true. just hope that no more n00bish bidder bids now.![]()
the item is very rare. G1 transformer dinobot Sluge made in the 80s.Originally posted by photo_seeker:Yes. Else, I think you just look for other sellers. What you wanted to get that is rare in Yahoo! ?
Then I think you should be prepared to pay slightly more since there's noobish bidders bidding up the priceOriginally posted by Gordonator:the item is very rare. G1 transformer dinobot Sluge made in the 80s.
i don't mind paying since the starting bid is low considering how rare the item is.Originally posted by photo_seeker:Then I think you should be prepared to pay slightly more since there's noobish bidders bidding up the price
