mp3 players expert pls come in!

  im looking for an mp3 player (without the USB flash drive capability) cus my camp doesn't allow that. any idea what and where i should get? budget around 300.
  
  i'm thinkin of getting a creative. what do u think?

  What features do you go for? Something light? With FM radio?
  
  I'm using a Sony Mp3 player, 1 GB, can hold up to 600 songs because the songs are saved in Sony's format, with FM radio and can be used as a flash drive as well for $269.

  I think not all uses a flashdrive right ? the iPod videos uses a hardisk for the 30 and 60GB options. The iPod Nano uses the flashdrive right ?

  hey dude, all mp3 players uses flash drive. its like a portable hard disk.
  i think what u want is a mp3 with out usb. ( the kind like, u must use usb wire to connect to ur computer.)
  
  ask ur camp buddies what they use and compare price.
  
  for cheap mp3 u can go audiohouse.

  Audiohouse is in Aljunied.. they always advertise on Straits times or Today if i'm not wrong..

  hmmm i bring my zen mirco in to camp daily my RP never catch. one time they ask whether i got anything to declear i say got my mp3 with me, he say no uplink cable with me so he let me past through

  u are talking about thumbdrive izzit.
  
  how can those 30gig and above mp3 players be flash-drived players. Those are hard disk based. also, think most of them use a usb cable instead of having a usb connecter directly on the player itself.
