Cuckoo Clocks

  Does anyone know where to get those vintage cuckoo clocks? The one with the bird comeing out from a door with the chime sound at every hoiur. I've been looking high and low for it but I can't seem to find one. Anyone know any shops that have it? And roughly how much does it cost?

  haha i got 1 at home..all i can say is that it is a very reliable clock..long battery life 2.hmm..not sure where to get them but i'll check if out for u.

  carrefour..... look like the same but battery operated.... every hour got 1 bird come out de.....
  
  i see someting alike before but got 1 vampire come out every hour de....

  i thought all along cuckoo clocks battery operated de? but these clocks definetly cost more than a hundred.

  i'm looking for a place that can repair mine...
  
  it's the old type.. really really old type... counterweights which you pull, pendulum, all clockwork...
  
  it's working well except the bellows for the cuckoo sound is busted... i need someone to fix that bellows...

  Thanks loneFighter Let me know when you find out alright. I'm really fascinated by these clocks. My godmom used to have one when I was younger and I always stood by the clock at the last minute of every hour just to see the bird come out. Haha. It's really pretty

  no some old old de still use those spring must like alway rewind every few weeks de.......... my old neighbour cuckoo clock used to be this old type 1 with 1 pendulum swinging below......

  the one i have doesn't use springs.. it uses this counterweight which you pull (it's shaped like a pine cone but it's metal and heavy)
  
  that weight slowly comes down as the pendulum swings away keeping time...
  
  at every half hour, the cuckoo comes out to herald the passing of the half hour... top of the hour, say at 2 o'clock gets 2 calls, 3 o'clock gets three.. at the bottom of the hour, there is one cuckoo...
  
  so, again i implore, does anyone know where to get someone to fix the thing? the call is kinda weird and not like a cuckoo anymore..

  there was a shop in park mall level 2 which sold speciality clocks. not sure if its still there but they had really nice clocks....
