Tearing down of forests in Yishun

Hi, I live along Yishun Ring Road, further down the road from Northview sec, around the 367 football field area. Recently, to construct yishun st 31, the town council has almost demolished the entire forest in front of my house. Even now after the road is completed, bullbozers and workers are still working on the field, now completely derelict and devoid of forests.
Does anyone know what else they;re going to build there? -
