not all local girls like that lah...but must know sg standard living quite high for even the low and middle income group...if the girl know yr and her own earning power can control expenses and you can understand ech other i dun see why sg girls cannot be yr wife....i dunnot yr fwen's case if he independetn can get married no much financial liabilities good ahead lor if aft married no need to stay wif mutter....but know in this case be careful coz i know old ppl and the ppl who hang aroound old ppl...lots of gossip and u and yr wife sure got lots of hard time together if u let yr parents intrude or know too much about yr life and family stuff
i will not say all foreign ladies are bad...but i prefer fair skin ones wif a brain (like i kick u u still com lickin my toes like a dog!)...mayb i watch too much tv and mtv but i would rather choose korean and japanese -

Wife is his to choose and love. Its a r/s not a transaction or purchase, based on certain criterias of what can the guy get out of the r/s without putting in effort.
If he wants someone to cook and clean, he should employ a maid.
If he wants to own something to be loyal to him, he should just get a dog.

marriage boils down to the commitments and trust they have for each other.
so its important to find the right girl. stereotyping girls from certain countries to be more loyal is just not right. there were also many cases of foreign brides cheating on their husband.
singapore has a higher standard of living and the girls are more educated. quite naturally they will expect more than those foreign brides from china and vietman.
but hongkong standard of living is higher than singapore right?
your friend should make the decision himself. he is the one marrying, not his mother. -
