TEmasek buying into more company

  TEmasek took over stanchart , capland buying into more company ..very soon all company will be own by Temasek ... so everyone will be working for the government liao ... is this correct?

  Nah... they buy and then sell to others... that's the only way they can profit.

  Temasek is an investing company, thus by buying more shares of other companies, they earn thru these investment. Temasek is state investment firm, not a government body.

  Yah...but from the recent rapid buying and selling, i dont think TEMASEK is actually earning money from these sales and purchases, more like make losses to me.
  
  If indeed they are investing, then they should hold on typically for 2-3 years to earn out some money from the firms before letting go.
