Which brand of battery IYO last the longest?

  Talk about which brand of battery can last the longest,only applies to AA and AAA batteries.
  
  Here are some better known brands of batteries: Energizer, Duracell, Eveready, Sony , Panasonic.
  
  If you know of any other brands of batteries kindly include them in your message also, rechargable batteries are also welcomed.Best if you can provide evidences and concrete proof, eg links.

  duracell when used on mp3 players digicam etc....but when duracell use on my house clock....die fast...
  
  chiong brand battery best use in my house clock...last for months man
  
  sanyo (1600mAH) rechargeable battery last longer than GP (850mAH) rechargeable battery
  
  GP (2100mAH) rechargeable battery last longer than Sanyo (850mAH) rechargeable battery
  
  i can see the NiMH rechargeable cells dominating the market for digi-cam and mp3 player users...due to the batt power lifespan and price in a long run

  though quite dissapointed they don't sell the Varta ones anymore.. now sell Made in China ones... but it's still very cheap.

  Lithium is those kechil kechil ones, for calculator, A series for remote control (Gosh, so small yet 12v!) or sorts
  
  Alkaline is at least better than Eveready, the sister brand
  
  Max, ok lah, but only use the 9V cos Alkaline dun have 9V type
  
  e square mainly for cameras
  
  For me, geez.. @ Tekong, all sorts of batteries also have... Buy quite a lot
