u know, some prata stalls hor, they cook all their prata at one shot, den put one side...
den when people order, they will just take the prata, cold cold one.... then sometimes if u ask them to recook it, they will like not happy like that
then hor, some prata stalls hor, like if u order only one kosong prata, they wont give u a bowl of curry, but instead pour curry over the prata
then some prata stalls hor, like if u order mutton curry or chicken drumstick curry, the bill will end up to be very exp. like the prata seller ketok u like that...
then some prata stalls hor, like the prata man dunno how to cook prata like that. the outside of the prata is cooked, but inside got a floury taste.
then some prata stalls very stingy wif the curry, give one small bowl only... then not enough...
don u people just hate that? share your prata experience with us, and tell us where the stall is... -

best is go jln kayu lah. they really just make the prata one. and of coz the long wait. -

anyway i think they wear plastic gloves even worst. The gloves may melt and go into the prata
I have been eating all my life and not once i ever got food poisning by prata.

my prata man always sell me freshly made ones.. curry he give me one big pack, one bowl full full. Sometimes there's even potato and chicken inside. -
I know. That's why I always eat at the stall which they cook only when you orders and give generous serving of curry with mutton chunks and pay only 80c for plain types.

Have you heard of prata smelling like shit? You know why? Because prata sellers are normally indians. And indians use their bare hands to wipe their ass after a shit. And you know wat happens after that? SOme of the shit gets stucked in their ring. THen when they make pratas, the shit gets transfered to the prata, thus smelling like shit. THis is true story!
Moral of the story is when you see prata sellers got wear rings, better siam. -
Next time u order ur prata (no matter which store), tell them u want ur prata "extra gareng" (pronounced gar-reng), which means "extra crispy". A friend discovered this keyword (macham code to unlock playstation game), and have been enjoying crispy prata ever since.

I remember there's one prata stall at hillview hawker centre which I used to pratronize on sunday mornings ....
untill one day I discovered half eaten chunks of prata inside the curry ... with teeth marks on it somemore ....
I suspect they poured back unfinished curry into the big pot again ....

Reminds me of a scene in that Tamil movie Anniyan when oone of the food caterers does something illegal and people died of fod poisoning. Anniyan then goes to find and punish him for what he did. The guilty guy gets roasted in hot oil alive!

personally i feel that this is too much.. we pay for the food but not in this manner..
we r spending money on the food which means we r giving them business that's where their salary comes.. we dun expect to have their service like a restaurant professionally but jus the basics.. not as in dumping the prata on the plate n splat the curry over it n say ' na ur prata '..it sounds like giving food to an animal.. no wonder tourists say singapore service bad.. it comes from small small stalls n shops..

Some people like their prata totally soaked with curry. So if they were served with curry separated, is that considered bad service as it was not to their liking? I mean what the f**k? And I'm pretty sure they won't say 'na, ur prata'.
