Nokia 6280 or SE W900i?

Actually the majority of singaporeans are using 6680s that look like n70s. I rest my case.

w900i is 400 more expensive than 6280...

bought Nokia 6280 without contract at SGD678.
wah... used it for awhile.. a really good phone....
can't complain at all....
anything you want, it's there. -
after using for a few days, damn good phone....

went with my friend to buy this a few weeks ago at starhub shop.
with 2 yr contract, it's abt $388.. think the bluetooth headset is running out of stock liao. think the silver (graphite) one is running low also, so try to get it soon unless you don't mind the black or dun mind waiting for the next arrival.
Must say that the picture quality taken with the camera and the screen size is fantastic! It's function-packed, so much so that you need to take time to explore the menus to find where the common ones are "hidden", and to customise it.
One disadv is that the 2 panels doesn't seem to be well made. they are abit shaky, and the sliding is a bit rigid. Hopefully, after some time of use, it won't loosen too much.
But for the price, quality and functions, out of the available 3G handsets offered, i feel that this is the best deal. -
Oh my 6280 is the worst nokia phone i ever used ! i bought 1 week back and i have problems like auto restarting and no reception . i called nokia and they ask me to bring there to let the operaters check . when i reached there , the operaters ask me to send my phone for a 3 days repair with them . i did so and i collected it back 3 days later . they told me that the problem have been fixed but when i reached home the same problem come again . i am getting very pissed off ! they think i dont have to work ? keep bring my NEW phone to service . i rather use my old 6230 ! any ideas or suggestion how can i complain this case ??

i don't have auto restrat problem.
but got 2 other problems.
1) when i play games, it will suddenly prompt u an error and hang there.
2) when i play MP3, it will automatically stop halfway and refuse to play anymore.
does anyone encounter above 2 issues? -

Did not encounter those problems with my 6280. It's running fine although at times it restarted automatically. Checked with my friend working at Nokia@CS, she said it is probably due to the SD card conflict - which might be true. I always fiddled with the SD card just before it hangs. My bad.

if you like the formfactor of w900i then can get that phone.but 6280 is relatively cheaper as compared to w900i.so if you have got money to burn then w900i would be a better buy.

it's the first symbian series 40 version 3 phone, so i expect more bugs here than other phones...
n70 is so far problem-free. very good..... even though it's not using the just-released firmware update v5.06..
