Friendster, is it a stupid game?

Some of my friends think that if they got like 200+ frens, it's equivalent to "having a life". Truth to be told, these ppl's definition of "having a life" is as shallow as friendster is. In fact, these ppl are those who seldom go out and socialize with others and instead, stay at home just to search for friends just so they can add them to their list for showing off. Too much time on their hands? You tell me.

friendster is rather a way to make new friends , and also keep in contact with your old friends. sometimes you can even find long lost friends. but the point is , some people just add people they donno , and they call that their 'friends'.
there are some even worse , they have forty over accounts , all adding the same people in each , i dont see whats the use . .
maybe to show how 'popular' they are . -
i have friendster.....but i dun have even a hundred friends in my list. hahhaa so considered have life or not??....and also i go clubbing..play tennis... watch movies..hang out with friends...and what not....so considered i have a life or not?? or i must get 200 friends in my friendster then have a life??

There really is no point in keeping contact with ALL of your frens you know in your lifetime. Friends come and go and the best friends are those who are around you. Your coolness is directly proportional to the number of friends and tesimonials you have. I think my friends should pay me because Im in the friends list and I write testimonials.
