What to do? They're ThaisOriginally posted by dork3d:Me not sure if that's good or bad, before Thaksin took the PM office, the Thai economy was in a bad shape but after Thaksin became the Thai PM, he was able to turn things around for the better for the economy.
He has won the biggest respect from the people from the rural areas and also people from the agricultural sector which formed 40% of the GDP.
If the people of Thailand only see the fault of ShinCorp and not underlining his efforts for the country, they had lost a great leader.
yeah, it's really sad to see him step down.Originally posted by dork3d:Me not sure if that's good or bad, before Thaksin took the PM office, the Thai economy was in a bad shape but after Thaksin became the Thai PM, he was able to turn things around for the better for the economy.

Since when do we have a unity government through a coalition of compromise? Maybe this year we might see the beginning of a multi-party administration?Originally posted by M©+square:Then like singapore....cannot cannot.![]()
u mean the thais? i think its more like a blinded 1 issue power.Originally posted by alexkusu:Power to the people!
The thai people may not be in full favour of thaksin because compared to the other PMs during the line, he did not really focused on the country but more towards the foreign affairs which i might add he has done well. Thailand is an emerging economy and its tourism has boosted ever more so since thaksin was put in charge. Its a sad thing he step down momentarily, but the papers stated that he will still have some form of political power.Originally posted by Simon Dean:
