  most of the time i eat 3 plates of fried tofu.

  I and my gf finish on average 20-25 plates each time.. including stuff like chawanmushi etc. I eat about 2/3 - 3/4 of that number, she eats the rest.

  my frds and i went a few days ago. total 5 of us. ate about 90+ plates in total
  
  my frd claims that he and another frd went and they ate 70+ plates altogether. of course some things they cant finish so they hide it

  depends
  
  those with rice one cannot eat so much
  those no rice one like tako yaki balls, gyoza, fried tofu can eat more
  
  usually 12-15 plates during buffet
  
  no buffet about 8-10 plates

  Whether is per plate billing or buffet, I get max out at 15. Normally is 10 though.

  me too. sushi aren't cheap when u are dinning inside their restaurant.
  
  at most 5 plates at $10 i'll stop. if i don't have to pay, 10 plates on a hungry stomach shouldn't be a problem.

  everytime when me and my friends went for a buffet, we felt like we were on a mission... to devour everything that is edible in the restaurant.
  rather kill the wrong one than to let anyone escape.

  i dun like their buffet....... nothing much to eat, keep eating same thing sibei sian.
  
  i rather order a few red plate stuff, pick some 1.90 sushi that i like. the total amount is about the same since i dun eat that much 1.90 plates.
