ITE from now.. Take how long to degree?

  I'm gonna be 17 this year.. a male, If I walk ITE route.. How long before I get my degree?

  2 plus 3 plus 3. 8 years.

  best case is 10 years.
  worse case is longer or cant even get in to uni.
  
  study in ite = 2 years (u'll be 19 by den)
  waiting for ns = 1/2 years;
  serving ns = 2 years;
  study in polytechnic = 3 years (ite com maybe direct to 2nd year, maybe can choose disruption from ns if going to poly allow);
  waiting for entry to uni = 1/2 years;
  study in uni = 3 or 4 years (direct entries to 2nd year for poly, u can opt for other course if u r DWM but will take 4 years).
  
  u can opt for oversea uni which take u duration of 2 years to complete.

  Hey, ITE students can go straight to poly without havin to serve NS first, provided that when they graduate they can not be 20 years old and above.

  ITE (NTC 2) - 2yrs
  ITE (HIGHer nitec)-2yrs
  Ns - 2 yrs
  poly - 3 yrs
  Degree - 2 or 3 yrs (dont know u straight away go yr 2 or must yr 1)
  
  Total = 11 to 12 yrs .

  You have to think very carefully, not many people with just an ITE cert gets into a poly, some even need at least a higher nitec plus must be above average.
  
  I think HWZ poly courses section might give you a rough idea.

  1yr Nitec + 1yr H.Nitec + 3yr Poly + 3yr degree = 8yrs.

  Nonsense. I got friends who went from ite to uni plus 1 to 2 yrs working exp by the time he was 30. And the uni he went was ntu, not those wulu wulu uni u never hear b4.

  wat crap is that? my ITE teacher last time studied in ITE also leh and he just got his masters!
