me in my mid 30s doing admin cum technical works ... actually its not uncommon for the pple in my company to work till wees hours of the morning... just that they were recongnised and promoted veru fast... but I do not ..... infact I was earlier recommended for promotion but got back stabbed or rather openly condenmed by my big boss .. this F ... ker ... I alway kena big time scolding by this sarcastic boss... I can only pray hard he die a horrible death fast fast ...
he deserves it !!!

I think every job in any company, has its downside(s). For every complaint that you may have... others are faced with pretty much the same situation, maybe more.
We can work our asses off, but sometimes it IS easier for people of authority to see the bad things rather than the good. In fact, in any given situation, be it as a diner in a restaurant, a shopper at the swankiest shopping centre in town, or a club goer in the most hip n' happening joint in the scene - it is too easy to notice the bad service, the items unavailable or the overwhelming crowds uncontrolled by the management. What about the times when we receive good service, when the sales personnel go above and beyond the call of duty to get something for you, and the bouncer lets you in without having to queue?
I'm sure that there are certain rewards for staying in your current job - but I do understand if your frustration at all the other things that happen is clouding your judgement now. If you feel that you still can handle it in view of the fact that it is not easy to get a job nowadays...and it does pay the bills regardless; by all means - stay, but keep your options open and be on the lookout for another job. If you don't think that you can last another day, serve your notice. There's nothing worse than having to drag yourself to work every day.
BUT if you choose to move on and get another job, there is no surefire guarantee that the same thing (or maybe worse) may happen as well. Then again, maybe not.

start work is always liddat wan la...my dad that time start work when young work like fu.ck liddat. then slowly it pays off. not so early but eventually he reaped what he sowed. dont get disheartened too early la. continue to work hard but please dont overwork yourself or stress yourself out ok!!! bosses are bosses. cannot be helped....for all u know your boss might be testing your perseverance
