Perhaps such things are just part of the culture (like dunking is part of CST culture, just that uninformed civilians dunno). Actually a lot of things are dangerous, but we make sure nobody crosses the line. Well .. blanket party also dangerous but we still do it.
Rugby is a full body contact sport. Surely they can tahan a bit of hantum here and there.
But the biting is really funny. I thought only little kids and zha bor bite pple. -

well i reccomend there be an official stance to negate the practice. you can still choose to do it. but then beware the victim being unhappy lor. and if the person still chooses to go through it, i guess he agrees to the risk. -

I'd say hang him.... 17 years old should know better. Even a primary school kids know how to play fair.
Also, punishment is NOT just for the perpertrator, but potential offenders, anyone who think they can get away with murder because the name of the school carries some weight. -

I heard from some teachers that they will be hiring old sji rugby players from CJC to be in the match. So if ACS(I) comes back again, they will have a harder time defeating us... -

anyway that ac guy's too much la. bite for what lol. It's totally barbaric. If the match was that aggressive (to a very great extent in this case) and i were in the crowd, i'd probably start a fight with the ACS ppl beside me :p -

2 yr ban a bit harsh, soccer - red card also not so severe.
1 or 2 matches ban should be enough + warning that if it happens again, then get kicked out of team.
All teenagers are very impulsive, sometimes they react cos they were provoked.
Impt for school teachers & parents to stress the importance of sportsmanship, that winning isn't everything.
