But to start the topic rolling, I have decided to share about mine.
For me, I was happy about my primary school cca (swimming). Back then it was enjoyable.
However, things were totally different for my current secondary school cca (computer club).
Why? It is because in this cca, I found out that there are not much things to do. Then, I have found out that my fellow (younger) members were either idling around in regular meetings, or simply fiddling the computer systems there. Occasionally, when they fiddle, it means I would have to return home much later than I had expected (thence I need to rush at breakneck speeds to a "special" course until recently), as they would not do a perfect job from there. Even worse, I was actually slowly rotting in my CCA (unlike the peak at February this year when I get to participate in more CCA related activities).......so I do not feel very happy about my CCA..............
However, I feel very happy about the CCA points I got. To me, it is a miracle.
Because by now I have 23 points under LEAPS (older ones before 2003 are under PEARLS) that is A2, despite my lack of leadership points.
It was better than I had expected (that is, 20). And that the points I got means I could get 2 pts off my L1R5, thus reducing my stress for O' level (I am taking O' levels this yr.)
So, after reading this passage, how about yours?
Feel free to share!![]()

Agreed. Passion is the key to succeed and enjoy yourself in the CCA. As well as learning new skills, you get to know more friends. You may even find your talents while participating in CCA activities/projects.Sounds like what i did in sec school.
I'm in a multimedia club right now. It has introduced me to a brand new platform (Macintosh) and my experiences with it has been amazing. It gives me a sense of achievement everytime my video crew rolls out a video we spent days working on. We are all keen to continue improving ourselves by learning new skills and softwares relating to video production. In fact, I'm seriously considering working in the media industry in the future, using the skills and applications I've learnt in my CCA.
My CCA is also in charge of the school's annual talenttime and its a major event, with hundreds of students and members of the public attending the concert every year. I really enjoyed myself in the 4 months of planning for the concert. True, we faced setbacks and have depressions sometimes in our course of work but we learn from each failure and become better. Those bonds forged with my juniors are special, because we've worked together so often, suffering setbacks together and encourage one another to buck up and strive on. Like I've always said, my CCA is my second family.
If not for my CCA, I doubt I'll be able to enter my school each morning with a smile
As for my CCA points...
Yeah it is.

I agree with you. Although i ended up with B3 (under old system), i never regretted the hours i spent after school in my cca.
Is the "talenttime" CHMA? Cuz your description sounds a lot like what i did last year
