POSB/DBS Everyday credit card application got rejected

I don't have a POSB bank account and my Everyday credit card got rejected.
is this the reason? BTW, i'm not jobless. -

It is quite rare for one not to have a POSB bank account since last time it is the defacto standard for what we called the Common People's bank. Maybe you go and open up one account lor so simple

I dun understand how they work.
They sent me an application for theor Mastercard credit card. I applied, got rejected. That means they dun like me.
Then they call me and sent me the Everyday application card by hand. Why they reject me previously and ask me to join them again???
Btw, how does Everyday card works ah? -
if you are jobless...advisable not to get credit card la...dun use future money...get a debit instead...

what I understand is some credit card like everyday card you must call them up to activate it.
Even if they sent you the new card it is still not activated, so you must call them.
Or else is you overspent so your card limit burst

It could be a reason why the application got rejected too -
no debt except car loan until middle of this year. (less than 2k monthly installment)

okie, it seems that you do not have a DBS or POSB savings or current account.
head down to one of the branches, open a BBA and apply for the debit card at the same time. -
Rejected cos u dun have 30K per annum la. Jobless does not mean got.

You don't have an account for the bank you wish to apply the credit card from. Do you see where that is going?

Same applies to citibank dividend card which at that moment, i had no account with citibank. -

For what I know, U need to have at least a POSA saving/current account oe DBS current/saving plus account.
DO you meet this criterea? -

i think either posb or mastercard dun wan u to hold 2 mastercards....
