so that means singers produce lower quality songs due to piracy?Originally posted by chenc:If the singers had not been greedy and charges a CD for such a high price, piracy will not happen. The cost of producing a CD is only around S$1, YES!!! and they sell you for 20. If they are selling $10 or $5 instead, do you think people will still got and download?
yes, people will still go and download illegally no matter how low priced the CDs are.Originally posted by chenc:If the singers had not been greedy and charges a CD for such a high price, piracy will not happen. But if a cd is priced at $5, I would rather own one legally. Free downloads does not come with free pictures of the singer. Also, I rather burn those songs on the cd by myself. In this way, at least I have control over the quality of it when it comes into my Zen Micro.Originally posted by UandMe:yes, people will still go and download illegally no matter how low priced the CDs are.

it's just the music companies trying to suit the new genre today. they believes that the boybands have lost their appeal to the mass now. therefore, pushing for rock bands instead of boybands now. btw, the rock bands aint too bad either. it's just different genre all together. i just hate the black music. hip hop and rapsOriginally posted by borntolive:Most singers/band's productions get worse as years goes by....
