If the singers had not been greedy and charges a CD for such a high price, piracy will not happen. The cost of producing a CD is only around S$1, YES!!! and they sell you for 20. If they are selling $10 or $5 instead, do you think people will still got and download?

i say get their music up to standard first before complaining about piracy...
i dun even know how they can have the face to charge 20 bucks for an album which might only have 1 good song.
an album with only 1 or 2 nice songs is definitely not worth 20 bucks. -

the price is so high cause of the copyright stuff...the effort the people put in to produce those albums...thats why it cost like $16 - $20...

But if a cd is priced at $5, I would rather own one legally. Free downloads does not come with free pictures of the singer. Also, I rather burn those songs on the cd by myself. if all the songs in that album is good, i will definitely spend that 20 bucks.
but sad to say, one nice song in an album of 15 songs... is not worth it.
how can they expect people to spend 20 bucks on one song?
