is it everyone of us must re service after finishing ns?
if so, then does it mean we cannot keep long hair? den how abt people like lin junjie -
Honestly, i wonder if lin jun jie need to go back for reservist. As for your case, yes, after finishing national service you will get call up here and there, some for in-camp-training, some for ippt test and some for office work. I know that you can't keep long hair or dye hair for in camp training, as for the office one, i am not so sure.

when they ask u back for reservice government will pay for u the salary when u go for reservice...... if your paid too high they nv call u back de......... example ur salary is $20000 k for 2 weeks they will nv ask u back for reservice de.........

I don't think people like JJ needs to do reservist... I think once your earnings exceed a certain amount or you have a 'special identity' then you don't need to go back liao... -

all depends on ur pes status... otherwise u will be called up... if u in active units with high discipline then most probably cannot unless u can give a damn good reason when u go back for ICT... junjie will be different case cos he need image and he will be sent to MDC which wun mind the long hair...Originally posted by alkaiden:is it everyone of us must re service after finishing ns?

My uncle earn more than 20k a month and i don't see him getting any recall. The manpower usually like to call up those who earn 1 to 2k plus per month, that's why if we want to avoid going back for reservist, then the best way is to work hard and earn more money.

no long hair for ICT...I think doesnt cover ear can already...no need to be as short as when U were still in active service.
having a shorter hair would help in staying under the CSM's radar though...

If I'm not wrong, those earning big bucks won't kena reservist because the government usually pays you a certain percentage of your income when they call you back. So if your pay super high, they also will have to pay you super high. Also, usually rich people have super important positions in company and so on, so they don't want to disturb the running of the companies lor..

C'mon lar, even kumar has to go back for reservist. You try to geng pes f lor, but I suppose you can even forget about getting a job by then.

For me my hair are short,i dun really mind just the sideburn on long.
Anyway i think i will not cut my hair becos of just a week ict or so,kinda bo liao leh lol,if they ask me to cut i just @@ until the week over Hhahahahahahhaaa. -

my dad last time went back for 3wk ICT, they paid him almost 14k leh. so wat's the limit u have to earn until they won't call u back?
