Kana Caught at Customs

  today kana caught at custom from jb for bringing in chewing gum (a small box), so the officers took it, "destroyed" it.. they also found some games which i bought but they didn't touch it. the officer take a look, put it back and never say anything..
  
  gums more serious den games meh? will come raid my house anot.

  Cause they also smuggle ma, Then when they saw yor chewing gum.. They thought "Alamak! That time forget to buy chewing gum also!"

  impossible gums will be consficated,,,
  last time i blantaly took gums on my hand..a whole packet,,the officer didnt even touch it..

  i have no idea.. maybe muz put one glasses den look guai guai innocent face. last time brought back one big box oso no prob. dunnoe today wad day so suey.. but i really din noe chewing gum cannot buy back sia so i was thinking wtf, my games! den nothing happened.

  ya nowadays custom veri strict..well l mean if u are going by cars, is still okie..but if u are going there by bus, veri dangerous liao

  i dun think blacklist la.. not legal charges. but to write down den ask my signature to "authorize" them to destroy. the female offcer oso never show dulan.. oni like "aiya.. u noe prohibited? come follow me.". got some ppl beside me oso but like serious case, got ciggys, etc.

  an old officer broke the gums probably to check got drugs anot or wad den ordered me to throw them into a rubbish bin nearby. so dun think so la.

  Chewing gum is illegal in Sg, but therapuetic gum (ie. chewing gum with therapuetic ingredients like Xylitol) is a legal, albeit controlled item. You can buy it from any pharmacy in Sg, just have to leave your NRIC number.
  
  Xylitol gum is good for preventing tooth decay.
