thats like 1x bucks per meal??Originally posted by UltimaOnline:Inside the Cold Storage at Takashimaya (Ngee Ann City), there is a sushi / sashimi section. The normal salmon sushi there (75 cents) is not very good. But their "Salmon Belly" sushi which costs $5.50 to $5.80 per pack of 5 pieces, is very fresh and delicious!
How to tell the difference? The normal salmon sushi is all pink. The "Salmon Belly" is pink with white stripes. It's located at a different section from the cheaper normal salmon sushi. If u can't locate it, ask the auntie on duty there for help. Tell her youwant "Salmon Belly" sushi, or sashimi (which is more quantity, and so more expensive than sushi).
I usually also buy a pack of fresh salad from the Cold Storage, plus the sushi, then head over to Mos Burger's nearby to buy ice-milk-tea-without-milk and their potato wedges (about as nice as their french fries), to makan together with the sushi.
Try the "Salmon Belly" sushi; it's a little more expensive than the normal salmon sushi, but it's a lot fresher, more delicious, and certainly more worth it!

eat it just like that with no soya sauce or wadever? The pack comes with free ginger slices inside, enough ginger to accompany each Salmon Belly sushi. Also comes with free pack of soya sauce, but I find the sweet ginger taste nice enough liao.
