I was talking to someone (a fren) who has a degree in biosciences. He said in the maybe around 10 years time.. can grow back amputate limbs , teeth and bones.
something call stem cells and cloning take from your own body and injected again. very fast simple procedure can cure many diseases like heart and lung and diabetes according to him. finally we dont have to pay so much for medical fees.
is it something to feel happy about yea? -
i doubt it..
but docs are fast running out of work in the future,..

mn...shouldnt have chose this profession..

Cure diseases yes. Grow back amputated arms, I doubt so. You amputated it for medical reasons, and you want to grow it back. I just can't see where the stem cells fit. And cloning, you clone yourself just to amputate the clone's arm and sew back for yourself? It's unethical.

I can tell you, stem cells can now even be used to cure people with spinal cord problems. People who are paralysed will have a chance to walk again. But the problem is, I don't know where they get the stem cells from. A few people have accepted the treatment and are now well. -

The problem is, when you do cloning, it's always a whole, meaning the whole animal will be cloned. That's why stem cell research started, it solves the problem of cloning parts. Stem cells can practically reproduced to become anything. Cloning can't do this.
