  You should wash it. Germs can collect on the rim of the bottle. Every time you take a drink, you may ingest some of the germs.
  
  Just use dishwashing liquid and rinse.

  bottle was 1/2 filled with water , 100% legit nalgene bottle bought from sports connection. well , kept the bottle but didnt take pics or document it.... everyone was dumbfounded when i was walking around with a broken nalgene bottle

  why dont u try burning it. will it melt? but later got the smoke. smelly like hell.
