Hmmm...I dont think a preoccupation with fashion or clothes makes a girl dumb. It all boild down to pre-occupation and interest of a person, and also UPBRINGING. How she was brought up by parents. (personally I tend to hold the opinion that Mandarin educated ones are usually dumber...)
But I agree that if she does NOTHING but go shopping, then yeah, maybe she needs to have more hobbies.
Haha...at least these ppl have looks...it's better to have looks and be dumb rather than be ugly AND be dumb to boot......heh.

It depends on one's perspective and interpretation of such perception.
It's a matter of substance of what they are portraying as an individual. Pretty women without substance derive lesser admiration and respect from others including its own kind. Then again, there is no such thing as dumb.

I think there has been a mindset that good-looking women are not smart so now, people tend to look at it that way. I think none of them are dumb. They just have little hobbies or interests that people sees them as 'dumb'. -

not true, just that ppl tend to treat pretty girls like bimbos, and whenever they make a smart comment, be it occassionally or all the time, others just think its a one-off thing.i guess they refuse to believe some ppl just have it all.
