Simon Cowell Was Shocked That Clay Aiken Is Gay

Hello,
According to some gossip, there was a CNN interview of Larry King interviewing Simon Cowell. In that interview he asked Simon Cowell about American Idol being anti-gay, anti-fat, etc, and during that conversation apparently Larry King alluded that Clay Aiken is gay. This surprised Simon and he even had a red face before he regained his composure and responded something.
Anybody knows about this or can confirm, especially whether it's true that Clay Aiken is gay or not.
