  Does anyone know how performance bonus is calculated? I always thought it will be a thousand plus, but it seems to be only a few hundred. Maybe my concept is wrong
  
  Is it based on the yr 2005 only? Or will it include the months i worked this yr too?

  Performance bonus definition varies from companies to companies. Some companies measure it in terms of the weeks like you half good so give you 2 weeks of pay or if you good give you one month of pay. It is very subjective

  But that is if i have completed at least a full yr of svc right?
  
  My fren said his was calculated based on until last dec cos he worked less than 1 year. So i thought maybe they only see our job performance for 2005 not 2006. correct?

  I dunno about your company but I would assume this year performance bonus should be for 2005 and if you have not served a full year it should be pro-rated?
