Reception / Information Counter Hogging

Yesterday, I was at StarHub Plaza Singapura to swap my Cable TV Set Top Box for the digital one. And this was what I observed with interest:
As usual, a long que has formed outside Starhub leading to the Reception Counter where you take a Q-number, to be attended to by an representative of StarHub when your number is called.
The que, was extraordinary LONG. Know why? There was this caucasian lady, holding up the entire que, by asking the girl at the Reception Counter all sorts of questions. The girl at the counter was overtly polite but professional nonetheless, by answering her queries.
But then this irritated man, holding an old set top box in que (3 persons behind the long-winded caucasian lady), with a face suitable for WWF, stepped up to her and said; "Lady! There's a long que behind! You're HOLDING UP the que!" He said that real loud and angrily, then steps back into his space in que.
The caucasion lady having obviously been embarrassed, left the counter shortly and went to the angry man (he's still fuming) and said to him;"What I'm asking is none of your business!" The angry man glared back at her and replied;"You can call 1633! You were holding up the que, and that's everyone's business! Now get the HELL out of here!" I nearly wanted to clap my hands!
You know, sometimes it's good to have bold and bullish people like this man around. Because, some people (causcasian or otherwise) are simply SELFISH. I mean, why can't she just take a Q-number, wait for her number to be called, then ask all the questions she have at her own time?
I say the man did the right thing. What do you people in here think? -

i agree
sometimes people let politeness take precedence over good sense the lady might have her queries but it is not fair to inconvenient other people for it -
But the angry man who told her off, looked like the sort of motorist who blast their horn at you on the road if you're too slow, or tailgate you on the expressway.
I smiled at him, and he glared back at me.
So I stopped smiling... -

Today I queue up at ATM, the old lady took very long coz she did like 3 separate transactions. The man behind her grew impatient, turned towards me and mumbled something I could not comprehend.

Think he could achieve that with less discourtesy.. problem is people dont like to confront this type of situation until they already feel very du lan. If they speak up BEFORE getting REALLY pisssed.. then mebbe dont have to rude la also.
