The next question I will ask is if that theme park, which is the size of Singapore, is able to generate a similar income stream to Singapore's overall GDP. If not, yawn.

And here we are, having such proud and dumb Singaporean (Only refer to this 1) sitting at his home and typing how great Singapore's economy is when he did not even know the source of it.
Cowards compare his own country's economy with other's theme park. Try comparing Sentosa with Disneyland or Universal Studio. -
Although Singapore is freaking small, a theme park of that size is freaking big.

Me work in the theme park management industry and recently on a trip to China, me was astonished to visit and see one state government-run theme park in Beijing that was matched the size of Singapore.
Inside the theme park housed 160 mid-thrilled and high-thrilled and 80 low-thrilled and kiddy rides. To compare for the dollar sense is totally irrelevant as to substain such a size without the funding from state government, it would be extremely difficult and unsubstainable. Per cap needed would be as high as 1000 RMB.

On the contriary, I think we should be proud of ourselves, we're small, yet we are doing pretty well.
